Dark Medieval Roleplay in a World of Fear

What is the Inquisitor! Game About?
Inquisitor! is set in an alternate world where the descendants of members of the Spanish Inquisition have taken control. Rebellion is quickly quelled. Hatred and bigotry run rampant. Heresy is punishable by torture and death by fire. Mutant half-breeds are put to the sword from birth. This is what Europe could have become if the Inquisition had been given free reign.

From the Authors
This is a game our group was toying with a few years ago. The premise was that heretics fleeing Spain in the wake of the Inquisition "crossed over" to an alternate earth, which they colonised. The Inquisition sent ships in pursuit, which also "crossed over" -- several hundred years later in the other world. However, it didn't take long for the Inquisition to establish themselves firmly in control. To complicate things, the world was already populated by "refugees" from other times in Earth's past. The Milanesians, a fey race who used crystals and the power of ley lines to provide them with power and resources. And also the Fomorians, troll refugees from Ireland's past. These provide some additional flavour to the game world.

Feedback
Encouragement is welcomed. If enough interest is shown, then this game might see the light of day. Who knows?  Core Rules [zipPDF~214K] : Extremely rough, to say the least, this is an early draft rule set for the Inquisitor! game. They have not been extensively play-tested, and indeed may not even be entirely workable without a lot of tweaking, but here they are anyway!
The Known World [zipPDF~392K] : World and campaign information for the Inquisitor game. There is a considerable amount of historical Earth-specific material in these document. Feedback is welcomed from anyone interested in this world.
